June? not ’June : Pride Month’? i do. and June was just June for eons before Now... June has been the last month of Spring, arguably Summer’s adopted child, so close it might as well be... June and what it represents for agriculture, for familial unions (’June bride’), for point in cycle of birth/death/rebirth... moment. as an Intellectual Historian (i have the official paper to prove it) one thing i know as a bonafide solid fact that historical distance is a required detail in ’calling it’ : and the hard truth that we are subjective beings, even while wearing the robes of objectivity, cannot (physically, mentally, et al) accurately assess the Now, free from personal interpretation and/or emotional investment. ’the right side of history’ is a whimsical, self-righteous aim.

i understand why one acts upon the pressure to make things of Today fit the constructs of These Days... i wish we could keep it clean, jellybean. i myself have no tie-in belief necessity that adheres to with what we associate the month of June...leaving out the trending details would benefit most - and not just for a person reading/hearing this today specifically, but today as a day on the calendar, devoid of any knowledge that it has been conscripted to tell a particular tale of the particular
